Timberline Mountain is about creating a great place to enjoy wintertime with your friends and family. That’s why we’re moving to payments without cash throughout the ski resort. Simply swipe, insert, or tap your credit card, debit card, or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay where you would normally use cash. It’s faster, safer, and always secure.
No card? No problem! Cash-to-Card kiosks will be available on-site where you may convert your cash into a prepaid debit card you can use anywhere VISA is accepted – not just at Timberline Mountain – with no fees. It’s easy and FREE!
What type of payments does Timberline Mountain accept?
VISA, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards, and most debit cards are accepted for payment. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay. We have multiple Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout the resort to allow you to convert your cash to a prepaid card with no fee. Leftover funds can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.
Is there a fee to use the cash-to-card kiosk?
There are no fees to convert your cash to a prepaid card and no fees to use the card in or outside the resort. As long as the card is used regularly, no monthly fees will apply. After 92 consecutive days of no transaction activity, however, a $3.95 fee will be charged each month.
Where are the cash-to-card kiosks located?
There are two cash-to-card kiosks on-site at Timberline Mountain. They can be found near the Ticket and Information Office, and near the Cafeteria.
How much cash can I load onto a prepaid card?
Up to $500 can be loaded onto a card. The minimum amount is $5.00.
Can I reload the prepaid card?
No, prepaid cards are not reloadable.
Where can I use the prepaid card from the cash-to-card kiosk?
Cards can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.
How can I check the balance on my prepaid card?
The balance on the prepaid card can be checked at a Cash-to-Card kiosk, online at RCbalance.com or by calling the number found on the back of the card.
