Ski Skill Levels:

  • Level 1. You have never skied before.
  • Level 2. You can stop in a wedge.
  • Level 3. You can make wedge turns on green terrain.
  • Level 4. You can link wedged turns on green terrain and easy blue terrain, with a parallel finish.
  • Level 5.  You can ski mostly parallel on green and easy blue terrain.
  • Level 6. You can consistently ski in parallel on blue terrain.
  • Level 7. You can ski with controlled parallel turns, maintaining rhythm, speed and control on groomed black terrain. 
  • Level 8. You can ski with good technique on all terrain and snow conditions, using carved short radius turns.

Snowboard Skill Levels:

  • Level 1. You have never snowboarded before.
  • Level 2. You can consistently stop on either your heel or toe edge.
  • Level 3. You can slide left and right in control on both edges (heel and toeside falling leaf) or complete an independent heel and toe turn on green terrain.
  • Level 4. You can link toe and heel turns on green terrain.
  • Level 5. You can link toe and heel turns on blue terrain.
  • Level 6. You can link short radius toe and heel turns on blue terrain, and link turns on easy black terrain.
  • Level 7. You can link turns with rhythm and flow on difficult blue and most black terrain.
  • Level 8. You can ride with good technique and flow on all terrain and snow conditions.
