Thunderstruck Chair Removal

Aging chairlifts are a concern for all of us at Timberline Mountain and the ski industry as a whole, so the Thunderstruck Triple Chair is in the beginning stages of being dismantled. On Monday, February 2nd, all the chairs were removed. This chairlift will be replaced for the opening season of Timberline Mountain in the winter of 2020/2021.
Over the course of the summer months, Doppelmayr will be on Timberline Mountain property overseeing construction of a brand new chairlift to replace the Thunderstruck Triple Lift. Details of the size and scope of the new lift are still developing. We will be excited to share updates on this new addition to the West Virginia ski and snowboarding community as they become available!

New Signage Going Up
