Timberline Mountain’s Snow Sports School is here to teach everyone to safely enjoy the mountain! Our Adaptive Program’s goal is to enhance the lives of children and adults with disabilities and special needs through outdoor recreation. This program enables individuals to develop new skills, build self-confidence and enjoy the sport of skiing and snowboarding in a safe, fun and positive environment.
Every experience will be individually designed based on your own personal experience, abilities, goals, and needs.
As a vital part of Timberline Mountain's Snow Sports School, all of our Adaptive Instructors are specially trained and use PSIA teaching techniques.
All Adaptive Lessons include private instruction, equipment rental, and a lift ticket.
All lessons should be paid prior to the lesson.
Pre-registration is required at least 2 weeks in advance.

All lessons are subject to instructor and equipment availability.
For safety reasons, all adaptive participants must meet the following guidelines to participate in Timberline Mountain’s Adaptive Program:
- Minimum Age: 4 Years Old
- Sit Ski Program Weight Limit: 200lbs
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to hold head upright through rough terrain and breathe without using special equipment
It is strongly recommended that participants talk to their doctor to see if this is an appropriate program for their health.
All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
